Release and Win
Eva made it to the semifinals at the Slovenian Open tennis tournament in Velenje. In QF she met the 3rd seeded, 9 years older Moni and managed to win the almost 3 hours lasting match at half past midnight with 6:3, 0:6, 7:5. The next day she was not fit anymore to fight the 1st seeded player. Hana was simply too strong (1:6, 1:6).
Eva was the youngest player at the National Telemach Women’s tennis tournament in Maribor this weekend. She managed to get through the qualifying draw and also win the 1st round of the Main Draw. A bit of luck was missing in the 2nd round, loosing the 3rd set match tiebreak (4:6,6:3, 7:10, source: TZS) .
Eva’s weekend was busy; 4 matches in the row to qualify into the main draw of the Telemach Women’s National Indoor Championship (TZS) in Medvode. The first matches against Mia-Sara (TK CC) and Alja (TK Terme Ptuj) was rather easy, but the following two matches with 6 years older competitors Nejla and Hanna from TK Branik Maribor required hard work sweat (source: teniskisvet.si).
Main draw of the Woman’s Championship was tough for a young 13-years old girl, but Eva played a calm and competitive game:
Eva won the 1st round tough game against the domestic player in three sets 6:2, 2:6, 6:2. On the following day she met a bad luck and had to congratulate the austrian colleague. (source: Tenniseurope.org).
Today, Slovene National Team U14 has lined up in Maribor. The team has been preparing for new chalenges in the forthcoming season 2020/21.

Eva, Ana and Masa won the U14 National team championship for 2019 defeating Maribor team by 3:0 (source: TZS).
Girls Eva, Nala and Julija have been fighting to the European top 8 at Tennis Europe Nations Challenge U12 by HEAD at Rakovnik.

Eva played top tennis this week at the Tennis Europe U12 tournament in Otočec, Slovenia. She won 6 matches in a row without loosing a single set. In the finals she outscored her opponent Nala this time with 6:2, 6:2 (source: TZS).
Prijedor Open U12 in Bosnia and Hercegovina has been a good place for Eva in the last few days.
